‘Gilmore Girls’ has had a big cultural impact since it first aired in 2000. The show’s fast-paced, witty dialogue and strong mother-daughter relationship made it special and different from other TV shows.

It influenced many later series with its smart writing and focus on family and friendships. Fans still love it today, and its popularity grew even more after it was added to streaming services. The show also helped shape fashion, music tastes, and how people see small-town life.

It’s truly one exception show, so it doesn’t surprise that people often talk about rebooting it.

Now Lauren Graham, who starred in the show for all seven seasons alongside Alexis Bledel, who played her daughter, Rory Gilmore said she would always agree to return to ‘Gilmore Girls’ if there were a new reboot.

She explained that playing Lorelai Gilmore was the best role she ever had, and she truly loved it. She also said the show had the perfect story, the right timing, and an amazing writer, making it very special to her. Because of this, she would happily come back if given the chance.

I would, yes! I always say yes because it’s the best part I ever had, and I love doing it. It was the perfect material at the perfect time with the perfect writer, and it just means so much to me.

In 2016, Lauren Graham returned as Lorelai in ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,’ a four-episode revival set years after the original show ended. The story followed Lorelai, Rory, and Emily Gilmore through different seasons of their lives.

On ‘The Tonight Show,’ Graham joked that some fans tell her they grew up watching her, while others say they just play the show as background noise. She found it funny that the show means so much to some people while others barely pay attention to it.

I will say it can be strange at times because on the one hand, some people are starting to say, ‘You raised me,’ and I’m like, ‘I hope there were other adults involved.’ And then on the other hand, people are like, ‘Oh, I just have the show on in the background. It puts my dog to sleep. We’re not even listening anymore. It’s just on like background music.’
