Marvel’s heroes have always been tied to the cities they protect. From the gleaming Avengers Tower to the cluttered newsroom of the Daily Bugle, the franchise’s buildings have become nearly as iconic as the characters who live and work inside them.

LEGO has spent years turning those landmarks into collectible sets. Its massive Avengers Tower, released in November 2023, remains the most expensive LEGO Marvel set on the market at $499.99, with 5,201 pieces and a height of 36 inches.

Now the toy giant is taking a more compact approach. Revealed during New York Comic Con weekend, the LEGO Marvel Skyline set (67006) shrinks some of Marvel’s most famous locations into a single microscale cityscape, with Galactus looming over it all.

The headline locations include Avengers Tower, the Baxter Building, the Daily Bugle, Oscorp Industries, Fisk Tower, the X-Mansion, and the Sanctum Sanctorum. Fans will also spot the offices of Nelson and Murdock, the law firm of Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson.

The set dives into plenty of deeper cuts as well. Reports point to additional locations including Damage Control’s headquarters, A.I.M., Roxxon Corporation, the Wakanda Embassy, Pym Laboratories, Hammer Industries and the Rand Enterprises building.

LEGO says the set is designed to create a connecting story across Marvel’s comics, movies and shows. Heroic hubs sit alongside villainous strongholds on the wrong side of town.

The set isn’t just architecture. A Galactus minifigure towers over the skyline as if threatening to devour the city, and one report describes it as the first physical LEGO minifigure of the character.

Defending the city are Spider-Man and the Human Torch as tiny nanofigures. Spider-Man recreates the iconic train scene from ‘Spider-Man 2’, while the Human Torch forms a giant flaming number 4 above the Baxter Building.

There’s plenty of action in the details too. The build includes an attacking Leviathan, the Avengers Quinjet, the X-Jet, and a Fantastic Four rocket ship launching from the Baxter Building, along with the Spider-Mobile and other vehicles on the street below.

The set contains 1,261 pieces and measures 15.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall. It’s rated 18+ and aimed at adult fans and collectors looking for a stylish display piece. Pricing has caused some confusion. Early listings cited $109.99, but several outlets covering the official reveal list the US price at $99.99, along with £89.99 and €99.99 in other markets.

The set goes on sale January 1, 2027, at LEGO Stores and on LEGO.com. It also supports Build Together mode in the LEGO Builder app, allowing friends or family to build it as a group. The reveal comes during a busy stretch for LEGO Marvel. A new wave of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ sets launched on October 4, including a New Avengers Tower with 954 pieces, ahead of the film’s December release.

The Skyline set offers something different from those movie tie-ins. Instead of focusing on a single film, it celebrates the full sweep of Marvel’s history across comics, movies and television. Online, fans praised the sheer number of locations packed into a relatively compact build.

Many were especially excited about the Galactus minifigure and the deep-cut buildings. Others debated which landmarks should have made the cut. With so much of Marvel’s world on display, the set looks likely to become a favorite on collectors’ shelves.
