According to the social media account ScreenTime, a new Lego Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set has leaked, reportedly priced at 450 dollars and containing 3,491 pieces. That figure lines up with reporting from leak outlet Dexerto, which cited BrickTapNews as a reliable and recognized source for Lego information, noting the set would reportedly launch starting September 1. The same report said the leak points to more than ten minifigures and a Ministry of Magic depicted across three levels.
If the numbers hold up, this would be a massive leap from LEGO’s only prior take on the location, 2022’s 76403 Ministry of Magic, a 990 piece playset built around the Deathly Hallows scene of Harry, Ron and Hermione infiltrating the government building to find a Horcrux. Some earlier leaks had even pointed toward a piece count closer to 4,000, with one report describing an anticipated September 2026 release for a roughly 4,000 piece Ministry of Magic model built to a scale that could connect with the Diagon Alley set.
The scale being discussed would place the set among LEGO’s Harry Potter elite. Per Dexerto’s breakdown, the rumored piece count would make this the fifth largest Harry Potter Lego set ever, trailing only the Hogwarts Castle at 6,020 pieces, Diagon Alley at 5,544 pieces, the Hogwarts Express Collector’s Edition at 5,129 pieces, and the Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collector’s Edition at 4,803 pieces. The outlet also noted that the price would sit among the priciest in the lineup, comparable to what Diagon Alley cost at launch.
