Appian Way Productions (which was founded by one and only Leonardo DiCaprio), Golden Ratio Films, and Blisspoint Entertainment joined forces to make a biopic about the legendary professional boxer Guglielmo Papaleo, better known as Willie Pep, Variety reports.

For those who don’t know, Pep (born in 1922) was the professional featherweight boxer who had 241 fights in his career – 229 wins (65 by KO), with 1 draw, and only 11 defeats. Associated Press named him the best featherweight fighter of the 20th century, and International Boxing Research Organization named him the best featherweight boxer of all time. In 1990, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He passed away in 2006.

Now, the biopic about him is in development. The movie will focus on his comeback in 1965. James Madio (Band of Brothers) is set to star in a titular role. Other confirmed actors are Keir Gilchrist and Ron Livingston.

It is unknown when the movie will be released.
