Liam Hemsworth Debuts as a Fiercer Geralt in ‘The Witcher’ Season 4 Trailer
Netflix has finally dropped the first official trailer for season four of The Witcher, giving fans their first real look at Liam Hemsworth stepping into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia. The Hunger Games actor takes over from Henry Cavill, who left the series three years ago.
The new trailer shows Geralt putting together a team of unlikely allies as he sets out on a mission to rescue Ciri, played by Freya Allan. The teaser doesn’t hold back, showing Hemsworth’s Geralt in action.
According to Netflix, “After the Continent-altering events of season three, Geralt, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge and goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good.”
The Continent has shifted and Ciri's at the center of it.

The new season will once again follow Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri as they navigate chaos across the Continent. The trailer hints at bigger battles, new friendships, and plenty of familiar faces returning to the screen.
Season four features a huge cast, including Joey Batey as Jaskier, Laurence Fishburne as Regis, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold, and many others. The show will continue to run for eight episodes, just like the earlier seasons.
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich remains at the helm as showrunner and executive producer. The season’s directors include Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, Tricia Brock, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Jeremy Webb.
Netflix has also confirmed that the story will wrap up with season five. Hissrich said, “This is the beginning of a two-season journey for our family to finally reunite and be together — hopefully forever.”
Season four of The Witcher marks the start of a new era for the series, with a new Geralt, new adventures, and one last journey before the saga comes to an end.
