Live Action ‘One Piece: Into the Grand Line’ Reveals First Look at Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5
Netflix is giving fans an early look at new characters in its live-action adaptation of One Piece as the series heads “Into the Grand Line.”
The show, starring Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji, is still a few months away from returning for its next season, but the team is already sharing teasers of the new faces viewers will meet.
Most recently, Netflix released a video introducing Camrus Johnson as Baroque Works agent Mr. 5. The teaser described him as, “The motto’s a mystery and the style’s explosive! 🕶️💥 Mr. 5 gets the job done by any means necessary!” Fans can expect him to bring a mix of charm and danger to the story.
The first season featured a wide ensemble including Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, and Vincent Regan as Garp, among others.
The second season is set to expand the cast even further with Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Clive Russell as Crocus, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, and several more, building a rich world full of familiar characters from the original manga.
The series continues to explore the adventures of Luffy and his crew as they sail toward the Grand Line, facing new enemies and forming new alliances. Fans are in for plenty of action, humor, and character moments as the story grows.
