A new Star Wars series might be in the works, and this one could come from a very familiar pair of writers. According to trusted industry insider Jeff Sneider, Nick Cuse and Carlton Cuse are reportedly writing a new Star Wars television show.

While Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t officially confirmed the project, Sneider has a strong track record when it comes to early reports about upcoming movies and shows. So even though this is still a rumor, fans are already getting excited.

Carlton Cuse is a well-known name in television. He’s best known for co-creating and writing the hit mystery series Lost, which kept audiences guessing with its emotional and mind-bending storylines. His son, Nick Cuse, is also a talented writer and has worked on several major shows as well.

Together, Nick and Carlton have written episodes for shows like The Strain, a horror series about a deadly vampire outbreak. They’ve also been involved in writing for Watchmen, a highly praised HBO series based on the famous comic, and The Leftovers, a drama that explores what happens after a mysterious global event causes millions of people to suddenly disappear.

If the rumor is true, this new Star Wars show could bring a very different style and tone to the franchise. The Cuses are known for telling stories that mix mystery, emotion, and suspense. That kind of storytelling could fit perfectly in a galaxy full of Jedi, Sith, and hidden secrets.

Right now, there are no details about the plot, setting, or characters of the rumored Star Wars series. It’s also unknown whether it will be connected to other recent Star Wars shows like The Mandalorian, Andor, or Ahsoka, or if it will introduce something completely new.

Fans will have to wait for official confirmation, but the idea of the Cuses working in the Star Wars universe is already creating a lot of buzz. If true, this could be another exciting chapter in the ever-growing world of Star Wars on television.
