‘Love, Death and Robots’ Season 4 Teaser Trailer Released Ahead of May Premiere

We’ve been waiting a while for this one, and now it’s almost here. The animated anthology series ‘Love, Death + Robots’ is gearing up for its fourth volume, bringing more wild stories and stunning visuals to our screens. Executive producers Tim Miller and David Fincher are back, teaming up again to deliver a batch of shorts that mix science fiction, horror, and dark humor in ways that always keep us guessing.
The show has built a solid reputation since it first dropped in 2019. With three volumes already under its belt, it’s racked up an impressive 13 Emmy Awards. That’s no small feat for a series that takes big swings with every episode, jumping between styles and ideas like it’s no big deal.
And it’s not just us who think it’s cool—George R. R. Martin, the mind behind ‘Game of Thrones,’ has called it out as a big influence for his own animated projects, praising how it tackles different looks and top-notch stories.
So, when’s it coming? Volume 4 hits Netflix on May 15. This time, we’re getting ten new shorts, with Jennifer Yuh Nelson returning as supervising director. Expect the unexpected—think dinosaur gladiators, cats with a holy twist, and even rock stars made of string puppets.
The first teaser and some fresh photos are already out, giving us a taste of the crazy ride ahead. It’s the kind of stuff that makes you wonder how they even come up with it.
The series has always pulled in some big names too. Over the years, voices like Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel McHale, and John DiMaggio have jumped on board, adding extra flavor to the mix. This isn’t your typical cartoon lineup—it’s bold, it’s weird, and it’s definitely not playing it safe.
I love how every episode feels like its own thing. One might lean hard into creepy vibes, while the next goes full-on sci-fi with jaw-dropping effects. It’s a chance to see different animation styles, from super realistic to totally out-there, all in one place. Volume 4 looks ready to keep that tradition alive, and I’m already counting the days.
