‘Love, Victor’: Hulu Sets Season 3 Premiere Date and Announces the Future of The Show

Love, Victor is an acclaimed series that is loosely related to the 2018 movie Love, Simon. Love, Simon was based on Becky Albertelli’s novel titled Simon Vs the Homosapien Agenda. The show follows Victor Salazar, an American teenager of Latino descent who is growing into and coming into terms with his sexuality.

Love, Victor deals with topics related to LGBT identities, family relations, romance, and friendship. With Victor at the center of the narrative, the show also focuses on other characters close to Victor such as his parents, friends, and romantic interests.

Love, Victor has set records for Hulu being one of its most popular series ever. It is produced by 20th Century Television for Hulu. The series is created for television by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Aptaker, Berger, Brian Tanen, Becky Albertelli among others have served as writers on the show.

The third season finds Victor going on a journey of self-discovery. Deciding who to be with is one issue but the bigger one is who he wants to be post-graduation. With the end of their high school life near, Victor and his friends face new challenges which they have to overcome to secure their futures

It stars Michael Cimino as Victor Salazar, a closeted teenager who just moved to Creekwood, George Sear as Benji – Victor’s crush and eventually boyfriend, Bebe Wood as Lake – a popular girl in Creekwood High, Anthony Turpel as Felix – Victor’s neighbor and friend, Rachel Hilson as Mia, Anthony Keyvan as Rahim, Isabel Ferreira as Pilar, Mason Fernandez, Anna Ortiz among others.

Hulu revealed that season 3 will be the final season for Love, Victor. The season is set to premiere during Pride Month as the previous seasons have been. The date has been set as June 15.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Love, Victor are streaming on Hulu and Disney+ Hotstar.
