For the shoot, Liu wore a striking blue fur jacket paired with a shimmering silver suit, perfectly capturing the high-stakes energy of the show’s gritty setting. The series centers on a small-time luxury counterfeit dealer living in Chinatown who finds herself pulled into a dangerous black-market underworld.

Beyond her lead role, Liu is also serving as an executive producer on the project, which is being produced by the acclaimed indie studio A24.
The production is being led by creator and showrunner Alice Ju, who previously earned praise for her work on the hit Netflix series Beef. Working alongside Ju are executive producers Josh and Benny Safdie, known for their high-tension films like Uncut Gems.
This collaboration promises to bring a fast-paced and authentic look to the streets of New York, where filming is scheduled to continue through the spring of this year. Aside from her work on Superfakes, Liu has also joined the star-studded cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is set to hit theaters on May 1.
