‘Lupin’ Season 4 Episode 2 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview
‘Lupin’ returns to Netflix on Friday, October 23, and the answer for anyone wondering about the next episode is refreshingly simple. Netflix is releasing the entire season at once, so viewers do not have to wait for new episodes to arrive each week.
That means the follow-up episode of ‘Lupin’ is available on the same day as the premiere, along with every other chapter of the run. This guide covers the release schedule, the launch time in major regions, where to stream, and what the official synopsis suggests is waiting for Assane Diop.
Release Date and Episode Schedule
Netflix Tudum confirms that all eight episodes arrive on October 23. The schedule has no gaps, so the finale is also available on premiere day. Each episode runs roughly 45 minutes.
Earlier chapters were smaller in scale. The first two parts had five episodes each, and Part 3 had seven. The new run is therefore longer than any chapter before it, and it lands almost three years after Part 3.
Part 3 arrived in October 2023. It ended with Assane surrendering to the police in an attempt to protect his family. The wait was partly a matter of production, since filming began in Paris in May 2025 and wrapped that September.
Release Time Across Time Zones
Netflix has not published a precise launch time for the new season, and at least one outlet notes that the company has not confirmed a time. The standard practice offers a reliable guide. Like most Netflix originals, the new episodes are expected to go live at midnight Pacific Time.
Screen Rant reports a slightly more specific window. It lists the release as just after midnight Pacific, which works out to about 3 a.m. Eastern. Viewers in the United States can therefore expect the full season to be waiting when they wake up on Friday.
European audiences get a daytime start. The episodes are expected at 8 a.m. in the United Kingdom and 9 a.m. in France and other Central European countries. Because every episode drops together, nobody has to time the follow-up episode separately.
Where to Watch on Netflix
All eight episodes are available exclusively on Netflix with a subscription. There is no separate broadcaster or weekly television slot to track. The episodes stream on Netflix beginning October 23, all released together.
Viewers who need a refresher can start earlier in the story. The first three parts of ‘Lupin’ are currently available to stream on Netflix. That is useful given the long gap and the cliffhanger that closed the previous chapter.
For a quick reminder of the tone, Netflix has also posted the official trailer on its YouTube channel. It works as a short primer on the premise before pressing play on the first episode.
Preview of What Assane Faces Next
Netflix has described the season as a whole rather than episode by episode, so the synopsis is the best guide to the follow-up episode. The story begins years after the previous part, with Assane still in prison. He wants to serve out his sentence and keep a promise to his son to meet their family in Senegal.
Those plans do not hold. A mysterious announcement signed by Lupin declares that multiple museums will be hit with simultaneous heists. Despite heightened security, the thefts go off as planned, and while Assane proclaims his innocence, everything points to his guilt.
A camera even shows him in one of the museums during a robbery in which Captain Belkacem is seriously injured. To prove his innocence and unmask the copycat, Assane must escape and put on the Lupin costume once more. The trailer opens with the line “We have a new Lupin.”
One preview writer notes that the impostor premise tests Assane through identity rather than through a bigger heist. Omar Sy leads the cast again, joined by returning faces including Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella. If you have already watched the early episodes, tell us whether you think the new Lupin is someone from Assane’s past or a rival who learned the playbook from the outside.
