Madonna is once again revisiting one of the most famous moments of her career. The pop icon recently appeared in a new Dolce & Gabbana campaign that nods to the style she made famous during the “Like a Virgin” era in the 1980s. The campaign was filmed in Milan, Italy, and quickly caught the attention of fans online.

In the black-and-white video advertisement, Madonna performs for a small crowd while singing the song “La Bambola” by Patty Pravo. The 67-year-old star appears on a small stage wearing a bridal-inspired outfit that strongly recalls the look she wore when “Like a Virgin” first made waves decades ago.

For the shoot, Madonna wore a white corset with lace and satin details, paired with lace hot pants that feature corset-style lacing on the back. She completed the look with fishnet tights, white high heels, long lace gloves, and a dramatic veil that flowed down her back. The outfit also included a diamond cross necklace, a white fur coat, and shiny patent leather pumps.

Images from the campaign were later shared by Madonna on Instagram. She posted several color photos from the set and added a short caption. “Una Notte D’amore,” she wrote, which translates to “a night of love.”

According to images released from the shoot and posts shared on her Instagram page, the singer carefully matched several pieces of the outfit, including lace gloves that were coordinated with the long veil. The styling echoed the bold fashion choices that helped define her early career.

Madonna built her reputation not only through music but also through strong visual moments. The “Like a Virgin” period in the mid-1980s became one of the most talked-about chapters of her career and helped cement her image as a pop culture icon.

More than four decades later, the singer continues to revisit and reinvent that era in new ways. The Dolce & Gabbana campaign shows how the look still resonates with fans and remains one of the most recognizable styles associated with her name.

It is impressive that Madonna can still recreate such an iconic look after more than 40 years and make it feel fresh again. Few artists manage to keep their early career moments relevant for so long.
