Margot Robbie Stuns With Pregnant Doppelganger Samara Weaving and the Similarity Is Unreal
Margot Robbie caused a stir in Los Angeles recently when she appeared alongside a fellow actress who could easily be mistaken for her sister. The two Australian stars crossed paths on March 16, during the premiere of a highly anticipated horror sequel.
The occasion was the red carpet debut of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, held at AMC The Grove. Robbie, 35, attended the screening to support the film’s lead, Samara Weaving, 34, and the resulting photos had fans doing a double-take.
Both women displayed strikingly similar features, from their wavy blonde hair to their nearly identical smiles. Robbie opted for a chic black mini dress paired with a zipped-up brown leather jacket and pointed boots for the evening.

Weaving, meanwhile, used the event to showcase her bold maternity style while heavily pregnant with her first child. She wore an elegant, floor-length gown featuring a distinctive front cutout that prominently displayed her baby bump.
The actress, who is expecting with husband Jimmy Warden, added a brown coat draped over her shoulders and a simple choker necklace. Her glowing appearance at the event follows a series of stylish pregnancy reveals she has shared on social media since December 2025.
The physical resemblance between the two women has been a frequent topic of conversation since they both rose to Hollywood prominence. Despite the constant comparisons from the public and the media, Weaving has always maintained a positive outlook on the situation.
“I hang out with Margot, and I mean, it’s so flattering that people think I look like her. And it’s great if it makes people go see the movie,” Weaving previously told the Daily Beast. She later reiterated to InStyle that she never grows tired of the association because she finds Robbie gorgeous.
The pair are not just lookalikes but are actually longtime friends who have shared professional space in the past. They both appeared in the 2022 period drama Babylon, though this latest outing was purely a show of personal support.
The sequel to the 2019 cult hit Ready or Not features an expanded ensemble that has generated significant buzz. Alongside Weaving, the film stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Kathryn Newton, and Shawn Hatosy.
Robbie has stayed exceptionally busy following the massive success of the Barbie phenomenon in previous years. She is currently preparing for the release of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, where she takes on the role of Catherine Earnshaw.
Jacob Elordi stars opposite her as Heathcliff in the film, which was shot on location in the United Kingdom throughout 2025. Aside from her acting work, Robbie remains a powerhouse producer through her company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
She recently oversaw the production of The Sims movie and is reportedly developing a live-action Monopoly project. Her focus has increasingly moved toward elevated genre pieces that challenge traditional blockbuster structures.
Samara Weaving has also carved out a unique niche as a modern “scream queen” with a string of successful horror and thriller credits. Aside from the Ready or Not franchise, she recently appeared in the comedic thriller Borderline and the action film Azrael.
Her husband, Jimmy Warden, is a screenwriter. The couple has been a fixture of the Los Angeles creative scene. This first child marks a major personal milestone for the pair as Weaving balances her growing family with her peak career momentum.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come follows Weaving’s character, Grace, as she faces another deadly game with high stakes. The film is expected to be a major box office draw given the original’s enduring popularity on streaming platforms.
As the two stars continue to dominate their respective corners of the industry, their friendship remains a rare constant in a competitive landscape. Whether they are mistaken for one another or appearing in the same film, their shared Australian roots and mutual respect continue to define their public image.
