Margot Robbie is making the London mist look more like a high-fashion runway than a gothic moor as she continues her “method dressing” tour for the upcoming epic Wuthering Heights.

The actress turned heads in a floral corset top that perfectly bridged the gap between Victorian-era corsetry and modern style.

Just you wait, it’s bananas, it’s great, it’s brilliant, Robbie told reporters during her London radio appearances on February 4. She explained that her wardrobe choices are deeply connected to the psychology of her character, Catherine Earnshaw.

Mukamal reportedly spent time on the film’s set with costume designer Jacqueline Durran to ensure the press tour felt like an extension of the movie’s visual language. He’s a history major, he really enjoys delving deep, Robbie added regarding her stylist’s research into Emily Brontë’s 1847 source material.

This London stop follows a whirlwind week that saw Robbie in Paris wearing a burgundy velvet Chanel ballgown and in Los Angeles donning a Schiaparelli trumpet gown. Each look has leaned heavily into the “gothic romantic” aesthetic, utilizing dark velvets, intricate lace, and period-inspired necklines.

The film itself is being marketed as a “scandalous reboot,” featuring a soundtrack by Charli XCX and a cast that includes Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, and Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton.

Beyond the moors, Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, is coming off a massive 2025. She recently finished work on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, a fantasy romance co-starring Colin Farrell. She is also currently in pre-production for the live-action The Sims movie, which she will produce, and she remains attached to star in a new Ocean’s Eleven prequel alongside Ryan Gosling.

Jacob Elordi, her co-star in Wuthering Heights, is also having a dominant start to 2026. In addition to playing the brooding Heathcliff, Elordi starred in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and is set to star in the much-delayed third season of Euphoria. The chemistry between the two leads has been described by director Emerald Fennell as intoxicating, and early box office tracking suggests the film could be one of the year’s biggest dramatic hits.

Wuthering Heights is set to open in theaters on February 13 just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend.

Do you think Margot Robbie’s dedication to “method dressing” helps build excitement for her films, or do you prefer to see actors step away from their characters while on the red carpet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
