“No pictures please!!!” she wrote in the caption, though her impeccably styled appearance suggested she was more than ready for the camera’s flash. The images featured Carey posing on a beautifully landscaped terrace at dusk, framed by elegant stone railings and lush greenery.

This social media update follows a recent surprise appearance at the upscale grocery store Erewhon in West Hollywood. Shoppers at the newly opened Santa Monica Boulevard location were stunned to see the singer pushing a cart through the aisles earlier this week.
