Marvel Studios Officially Announces ‘Werewolf By Night’; First Trailer and Release Date Revealed


There’s been months-long speculation that Marvel Studios is preparing sort of a Halloween Special, and at the recent D23 Expo presentation, the project is now finally announced as Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night. This black-and-white horror mystery will be released on October 7, exclusively on Disney+.

Michael Giacchino, who is known as the composer of the Spider-Man: Home trilogy starring Tom Holland and the composer of Matt Reeves’ DC movie The Batman is now jumping into the shoes of the director with this special project. Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly have been officially confirmed as the lead actors.

Not much is known about the plot, but we will have a chance to watch this in less than a month, so we won’t need to wait long. This is surely something Marvel has never attempted to do before and it will be interesting to see Marvel’s vision of the Halloween special. Marvel is also preparing a Holidays Special with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, directed by James Gunn. which will show us how the weirdest family in the galaxy is celebrating holidays.

Directed by Michael Giacchino, Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night will drop on Disney+ on October 7, 2022.
