Daredevil: Born Again is set to release in less than four months, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The show will bring back familiar faces, including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock (Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen.

One of the most exciting returns is Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. The actor has been confirmed through interviews and set leaks, which show him fighting alongside Daredevil in several scenes.

Marvel’s Head of Television and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum, recently spoke with the Phase Hero podcast about several upcoming MCU releases, including Daredevil: Born Again. He confirmed that the show’s tone will align more with the darker vibe of the original Netflix series and described it as one of the most violent shows Marvel has ever made.

Winderbaum was also asked about Punisher’s future in the MCU, given his dark character and the fact that Marvel doesn’t often explore such themes. He confirmed that Punisher definitely has a future in the MCU.

100%. We feel the same way! He’s definitely great in the role. can’t wait for you to see him in this series. There is absolutely a future for him in the MCU afterwards.

Recent rumors have suggested that Daredevil: Born Again could lead to more spinoffs, such as the Heroes for Hire project, but there’s been no indication of a similar direction for Punisher.
