Marvel Unveils Epic New Event Series Arriving Next June

Marvel has officially revealed its next big event, Armageddon. and it’s set to hit shelves in June 2025. The studio promises that this new storyline will shake up the entire Marvel Universe in ways fans haven’t seen in years.

The upcoming series is being written by Chip Zdarsky, one of the most popular writers in modern comics, known for his work on Daredevil and Captain America. According to Marvel, Armageddon will have massive consequences for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and could mark one of the most dramatic turning points since Avengers: Disassembled.

Marvel says the buildup to this new event has already started. The story will connect to Zdarsky and Valerio Schiti’s upcoming Captain America series in 2025, as well as to events unfolding in the Ultimate Universe. One key piece of the puzzle comes from Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #5, which features Miles Morales returning with mysterious Origin Boxes , objects that seem to play a big role in what’s coming next.

The publisher teased that Armageddon Assembles in June, hinting that the countdown to disaster has already begun. Fans also got a first look at a striking promotional image created by Zdarsky himself, showing that the project is already generating buzz among readers.
