Marvel’s Hercules Project May Be Moving Forward According to Latest Rumors

Marvel fans have something new to chat about. According to Daniel Richtman, who posts his insider information on Patreon, Marvel is reportedly working on a Hercules project. Brett Goldstein’s Hercules already debuted in the MCU in the Thor: Love and Thunder post-credit scene.
In the first end-credits scene of Thor: Love and Thunder, we find out that Zeus is still alive. He’s really angry and wants revenge. So, he sends his son, Hercules, to go after Thor.
Right now, it’s not clear when we’ll see that part of the story continue. Thor is still around, so there’s a good chance he’ll be back soon. Maybe next time, Hercules will be chasing him.
This is not the first time that rumors of Hercules projects have surfaced. Shortly after the movie was released, Waititi himself talked about continuing the story.
He admitted he didn’t really know much about that part of Marvel.
Taika said that when he was told they were bringing in Hercules, it didn’t make much sense to him at first. He didn’t even realize Hercules was a Marvel character. But he said it’s the start of something new in the Marvel world.
He also joked that this new storyline will go in a direction he won’t be involved in. “I won’t be invited to come and be a part of [it], but I’m happy for everyone who loves Greek Gods,” he said.
Waititi won’t be directing the next Thor movie, which many believe is already in development, so that part of his “prophecy” has come true.
At this point, there are no real details about the new project. However, we do know that Thor is set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, so maybe that’s where we’ll get our first clue about what’s coming next in his story.
