One year ago, Marvel Cinematic Universe entered a new Phase with Disney+ shows. WandaVision started that phase, and it was followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, and Hawkeye. We don’t know which show will be next, since three upcoming shows that are the closest – Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk – still have no official release dates.
But, it seems like Moon Knight will be the next show. Because it was officially announced that the trailer for the upcoming series starring Oscar Isaac will debut its official trailer this Monday, on ABC during the NFL Playoffs. The trailer’s premiere date with the first teaser which also provided the first look at the series in general. You can check the teaser down below:
Moon Knight will introduce a new hero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Star Wars and Dune star Oscar Isaac is playing Marc Spector, a former CIA agent-turned-mercenary who became a superhero after his life was saved by the Moon God, Khonshu. Moon Knight is usually compared to DC’s Batman because he’s also a skilled martial artist and skillful detective who operates at night. The difference is that Marc Spector has a mixed feeling about morality.
Created by Jeremy Slater, and also starring Gaspard Ulliel, May Calamawy, Loic Mabanza, and Ethan Hawke in the undisclosed villainous role, Moon Knight will debut this year exclusively on Disney+. Stay tuned for the trailer release next Monday.
