Marvel’s She-Hulk: New Look At Tatiana Maslany’s Titular Hero Revealed

Moon Knight, the next Disney+ Marvel series is set to premiere in less than three weeks, and we also have the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to look forward to in May. And while we wait for that, there’s still a question on what to expect after that. She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel are two shows that are set to premiere this year, although it’s still unknown which one of these will be released first, considering that Disney+ has always been releasing one series at the time.

Although the release date is still TBA, we have some initial information about the upcoming She-Hulk series. So far we only have teasers, but still no official first looks or trailer. But, thanks to the official merchandise of the series, we just got the best look yet on Tatiana Maslany, who is set to debut as the titular Marvel hero.

Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner, original Hulk. In the Marvel Comics canon, Walters is a lawyer who serves as the legal counsel in cases involving superheroes and enhanced humans. After an accident, she needed a blood transfusion, and she received blood from her cousin Bruce Banner, which turned her into a superhero with superpowers very similar to the original Hulk. Unlike Bruce Banner, She-Hulk still can retain most of her human personality, but just like Hulk, she can become stronger when enraged.

Mark Ruffalo will reprise the role of Bruce Banner/Hulk, the role he’s been playing since 2012’s The Avengers. It’s not known what future Kevin Feige and screenwriters planned for She-Hulk in the MCU, but it will be interesting to see it. The series also stars Tim Roth, who returns as Abomination, and Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jameela Jamil, who will play Titania, She-Hulk’s arch-enemy.

Created by Jessica Gao, the She-Hulk Disney+ series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
