Six Marvel shows on Disney+ are behind us, and while two of them will return for the second season — Loki and What If…? — there’s a handful of upcoming shows that Marvel will release on Disney+ in the coming months. The next show will be Ms. Marvel, which is set to premiere on June 8, and after that, the next series will supposedly be She-Hulk.

The She-Hulk Disney+ series was announced in August 2019 along with Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. There’s still no official trailer or poster for the series, but the official Disney+ site in the United Kingdom now revealed that the series is set to premiere on August 17, 2022.

“This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion, and guess what? She receives his powers too. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases. Mark Ruffalo is back as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth, who plays the Abomination.” — Marvel’s She-Hulk, official description

Tatiana Maslany will debut as the titular character in the upcoming series, and Mark Ruffalo will reprise the role of Bruce Banner he’s been playing since 2012’s The Avengers. Tim Roth also returns as Abomination, the role he played in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk and 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jameela Jamil, Anais Almonte and Josh Segarra also star.

Created by Jessica Gao, She-Hulk will be a mix of legal drama, comedy, and superhero genres. The series is expected to run for ten 30-minute episodes, and Kevin Feige already confirmed the character will cross over to other MCU movies after her introduction in the series.
