Marvel’s Spider-Man video game has the reputation of the best Marvel game ever and one of the best superhero games. The game was released in 2018 as a PS4 exclusive, and following the huge hype, the received critical acclaim from Marvel fans and gamers around the world. Open-world design, story, RPG elements, characters, and voice-acting were widely praised. The game got three story expansions, a spin-off game centered on Miles Morales, and the remastered version for PS5, which was released in November 2020.

Now, ahead of the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, developers of the game provided a new update that added two new exclusive suits to the game. Two suits that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will wear in the movie. Unfortunately, the update was made only for the remastered version of the game, which caused negative feedback from the players who are still playing the game on PS4. Insomniac defended that decision with an argument that one more PS4 update would jeopardize the performance of the game on the previous generation of the console.

But, if you’re the owner of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS5, you can prepare yourself for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home by playing the game with exclusive suits from the movie. Here you can check how do they look in the game:

After Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Insomniac recently announced that they’re working on the sequel of both games – Spider-Man 2 – in which both Peter and Miles will return, and Venom was announced as the new main villain. The game will be released exclusively on PS5 in 2023. By then, a lot more gamers will own PS5 for sure, and maybe they’ll even add these suits to Spider-Man 2 so that we could play the sequel with them. No matter if the game is coming out two years after No Way Home.
