‘Masters of the Universe’ Live-Action Movie Wraps Filming as Actor Kojo Attah Shares Set Moments

The upcoming live-action He-Man movie has just finished filming, and actor Kojo Attah celebrated the moment by posting a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos and videos on his social media.
The content gives fans a glimpse at what things were like during production, with smiles, costumes, and action from the set.
Kojo Attah plays Triclops in the movie, joining a cast that includes Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Jared Leto taking on the role of Skeletor.
Alison Brie is playing Evil-Lyn, while Sam C. Wilson appears as Trap Jaw. Morena Baccarin also joins the cast as the Sorceress.
The film is being directed by Travis Knight, known for Kubo and the Two Strings and Bumblebee. He brought in his longtime collaborator Chris Butler to rewrite the script. The original version of the screenplay was written by David Callaham, who worked on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe started out as a toy line and later became a popular animated series in the 1980s.
It already had a live-action version back in 1987 with Dolph Lundgren as Prince Adam and Frank Langella as Skeletor. This new version aims to bring the story to a new generation, with updated effects, a bigger cast, and a more modern take on the classic characters.
The new Masters of the Universe movie is set to hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
