MCU: Kevin Feige Officially Announces Phase 5 At SDCC

Marvel fans, we finally know when Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to an end! At Marvel’s panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con, president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige officially announced that the upcoming movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be the last movie of Phase 4, and Phase 5 will kick off next year with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania!

With the official announcement of Phase 5, Feige revealed the whole slate of upcoming movies and TV shows. Here’s every Marvel project that is set to be released as a part of MCU Phase 5

  • Secret Invasion — Spring 2023
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 — May 5, 2023
  • Echo — Summer 2023
  • Loki, Season 2 — Summer 2023
  • The Marvels — July 28, 2023
  • Blade — November 3, 2023
  • Ironheart — Fall 2023
  • Agatha: Coven of Chaos — Winter 2023/2024
  • Daredevil: Born Again — Spring 2024
  • Captain America: New World Order — May 3, 2024
  • Thunderbolts — July 26, 2024

Marvel Studios revealed release windows for several upcoming TV series that are set to arrive on Disney+. The spin-off of the WandaVision series centered on Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha was renamed from Agatha: House of Harkness to Agatha, Coven of Chaos. Also, new movies, including Captain America 4 and Thunderbolts were officially announced, and Blade, the movie which was first announced at SDCC 2019, now finally has a release date!

We have no doubt that additional projects and information will be revealed at D23 Expo next September, and surely, there’s no doubt that Marvel fans will have plenty of content to watch in the future.
