‘Inside the Circle’, known in Spanish as ‘El Círculo’, is a new Mexican thriller arriving on Netflix on October 7, 2026. The story follows four lifelong friends who are pulled into blackmail and danger after a leaked video exposes their deepest secrets, ambitions and fears.

The ‘Inside the Circle’ cast is anchored by four leads, and each of them carries a different piece of that fragile friendship. The series also draws on a wider ensemble that includes Saúl Lisazo, María Elisa Camargo, Natalia Coronado, Mariané Cartas, Diego Sandoval, Héctor Molina and Jorge Zárate.

Zuria Vega plays Amelia, one of the four friends at the center of the story. She is one of four actors Hollywood Reporter highlights as leading the series.

Audiences may know her from ‘Las Azules’, and Netflix promotion has paired her prominently with Osvaldo Benavides. That pairing suggests the show sees her character as central to its emotional stakes.

One of the tensest scenes shown in promotional material puts Vega face to face with Benavides, with love and betrayal in play at the same table. It is a small glimpse, but it hints at how personal the fallout becomes once the secrets surface.

Michel Brown

Michel Brown plays Tomas, the friend whose decision to share a video of a recently deceased celebrity sets everything in motion. That video insinuates something about one of Mexico’s most powerful political figures, which puts Tomas and the people around him in danger.

Brown is best known for ‘Pasión de Gavilanes’. Netflix lists him first among the series cast.

Because Tomas sits at the heart of the central threat, the role asks Brown to carry much of the story’s suspense. In his review, the critic at But Why Tho writes that the early episodes leave plenty of hints and clues, which keeps viewers doubting who might really be after Tomas.

Raúl Briones

Raúl Briones plays Mario, the third member of the core friend group. His previous work includes ‘A Cop Movie’.

The series is built on the idea that loyalty between close friends can be as fragile as the secrets they keep. Mario is part of that balance, and the show relies on viewers believing these people have known each other for decades.

The But Why Tho review praises the chemistry among the core group, noting that the way the central characters slide into easy interactions sells the idea that they are old friends. That sort of shared history is difficult to fake, and it gives Briones and his castmates a solid foundation.

Osvaldo Benavides

Osvaldo Benavides plays Jaime, the fourth member of the group. He is known for his work on ‘Monarca’.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the trailer shows the four lead characters facing extreme situations that range from chases to attacks and direct confrontations with those promising to fracture what keeps them together. Jaime is firmly in the middle of that pressure.

The review also points out that the series expands its focus to characters close to the central four, and describes these secondary figures as showing great promise. That is where the wider ensemble comes in, with names such as Saúl Lisazo, Natalia Coronado and Mariané Cartas filling out the supporting cast.

The adaptation comes from the novel Los corruptores by Jorge Zepeda Patterson, who also serves as consulting producer, and is directed by Alejandro Lozano for Lemon Studios. With a cast built around such a tight circle of friends, which of the four do you think will crack first once the blackmail starts closing in?
