Megyn Kelly Names the “Meanest” Celebrities She’s Interviewed—The Results Are Shocking

Megyn Kelly has spent decades interviewing some of the biggest names in Hollywood, but not every celebrity encounter has been smooth.

In a recent chat with the Daily Mail, the 55-year-old broadcaster didn’t hold back when asked about the stars who left a bad impression on her.

Kelly, who began her career at Fox News in 2004 and later hosted shows like America Live and The Kelly File, described one celebrity who immediately came to mind as particularly unpleasant. She recalled an interview with Jane Fonda in 2017, during which the 88-year-old actress became upset over questions about rumored plastic surgery.

“She was offended that I wasn’t steering her there. She really wanted to talk about their s** scenes,” Kelly said, explaining that Fonda had wanted to focus on the steamy scenes she shared with Robert Redford in Our Souls at Night.

Kelly followed Redford’s PR team’s advice to avoid the subject, instead asking about Fonda’s rumored facelift, which did not sit well with the actress.

Kelly also mentioned Bruce Willis as someone she found difficult to interview. Speaking about a 2006 appearance, she said, “He came on and was just so clearly unhappy to be there. I mean, that’s fine, he has his politics, but why agree to come on? Usually people have some give. He didn’t. At all.”

Kelly added that the 70-year-old actor was “so ungiving, so ungenerous,” and called him “just unpleasant”, while acknowledging his current struggles with dementia.

Today, Kelly runs her own podcast, which has more than four million YouTube subscribers, and hosts The Megyn Kelly Show on Sirius XM, regularly meeting high-profile stars. Despite these challenging encounters, she continues to engage with Hollywood’s elite on a daily basis.

Kelly’s candid reflections show that not every A-lister is easy to handle, and even seasoned interviewers encounter stars who can be difficult.
