Michelle Randolph’s High Fashion Custom Balenciaga Moment Steals the Spotlight at the Actor Awards
Michelle Randolph stepped onto the Actor Awards carpet tonight alongside her Landman co-stars as the hit drama earned a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
For the event, Michelle Randolph chose a custom Balenciaga gown in soft aqua green. The strapless satin dress had a full “Balloon” shape and even included pockets. She matched the look with aqua Duchesse pumps from the same fashion house, creating a clean and simple style that stood out on the carpet. Photos from Getty Images captured the details of both the dress and shoes during arrivals.
Randolph currently stars in Landman, a Texas-based story created by Taylor Sheridan. In the series, she plays Ainsley, the daughter of characters portrayed by Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter.

Season two of the series is already available to stream, and work is underway on a third season.
Randolph also spoke about working with Sheridan, telling the magazine, “There’s no denying the fact that he is genius. He has, I don’t know how many amazing shows out right now, and he just builds these universes and he invites you, as an actor, to live in this universe. And he works with fantastic crew and it’s a well-oiled machine on set every day. It’s like everyone speaks a secret language. It really feels like a family working for him.”
This is not her first time working in Sheridan’s world. She also appeared in 1923 alongside Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford. Ford was also honored at the ceremony tonight with a Life Achievement Award from SAG-AFTRA.
While Landman was recognized during the evening, Sheridan himself was not present. According to industry updates, he has a busy month ahead with two new projects launching soon. One is the Yellowstone spin-off Marshals starring Luke Grimes, and another new series titled The Madison is set to premiere on Paramount+.
From a fashion and career point of view, Randolph’s appearance felt like a moment that showed how far she has come in a short time. She is now part of one of television’s most talked-about creative teams and continues to build her presence both on screen and on the red carpet.
