Millie Bobby Brown Speaks Out on Friendship with David Harbour Amid Bullying Report
Millie Bobby Brown is speaking out about her friendship with David Harbour amid reports that she filed a bullying complaint against her Stranger Things co-star.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 21-year-old actress emphasized the strong bond they share. “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,” Brown said, reflecting on the pair’s long history together.
She added, “We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years. I mean, we have always been united in that.”
The controversy started when the Daily Mail published an article on November 1, claiming Brown had filed a complaint with Netflix over alleged bullying by Harbour, 50. The report cited an unnamed source and said an internal inquiry had taken place, but there were no claims of s**** harassment or misconduct.
The allegations remain unverified. Celebrity gossip source Deuxmoi told a podcast that the issue may have been a simple misunderstanding on set involving lines, which was quickly resolved, though they added they could not confirm the details.
The timing of the report coincided with new details in Lily Allen’s album about her past relationship with Harbour, which fueled further attention.
Despite the rumors, Brown and Harbour appeared together at the Los Angeles premiere of Stranger Things season 5 on November 6. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer and producer Shawn Levy avoided commenting on the allegations directly.
Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter, “We’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”
Netflix also highlighted that Brown and Harbour attended the premiere together and were seen being friendly.
