Milly Alcock made a striking entrance at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards, proving her star power extends far beyond her Game of Thrones prequel fame. The Australian actress arrived on the red carpet in a bold black suit that blended masculine tailoring with daring, feminine details.

Her outfit featured a double-breasted jacket with silver buttons and exaggerated wide lapels turned into a dramatic high collar. Straight-leg pants matched the jacket’s button details, while a corset-style top underneath showed off her décolletage and laced up her neck. She finished the look with bold jewelry by Tasaki, making the ensemble impossible to ignore.

Alcock has had a whirlwind few years. She first drew attention as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon and recently impressed audiences as Simone in the dark comedy Sirens. Now she’s stepping into the iconic role of Supergirl for an upcoming blockbuster, taking on the story of Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El. She first appeared as the character in last year’s DC Comics hit, Superman.

Speaking to Forbes about the challenge of playing Supergirl, Alcock admitted she had doubts at first. “I thought, ‘what have I done?’ I really struggled to believe I could do it. I even called the director [Craig Gillespie] saying ‘I don’t know how to be that person. I’m just me.’ Eventually, I realized the only way through was to trust myself. I always believe life is right on time. Things happen when they’re supposed to, whether you feel ready or not.”

Her BAFTA look highlighted Alcock’s fearless approach to fashion, mirroring the bold choices she makes in her career. She has shown she can seamlessly balance edgy style with commanding screen presence, proving that she is more than ready for Hollywood’s biggest roles.

Milly Alcock’s red carpet appearance shows she isn’t just a rising star—she’s a force to be reckoned with. Her mix of classic tailoring and daring details made a statement about confidence and individuality. What do you think of her look and her upcoming role as Supergirl?
