Miraculous Ladybug Plans 52 New Episodes by 2025

Fans of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir have something big to look forward to! The franchise is getting ready to release 52 new episodes by the end of 2025. This includes a new show called Miraculous Chibi, which is a 2D animated, non-verbal comedy series. It’s set to premiere in late 2025 and will have 52 episodes.
Licensing Magazine also confirmed that Season 7 of the main series is currently in production.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, created by Thomas Astruc, follows Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a young fashion designer in Paris. Marinette also fights evil as the superhero Miraculous Ladybug. Her classmate Adrien Agreste, who she has a crush on, is secretly the superhero Cat Noir.
Neither of them knows the other’s secret identity. Adrien’s father, Gabriel Agreste, is also the villain Monarch, which adds more tension.
The show recently marked its tenth anniversary and is celebrating with the release of Season 6. Over the years, the cast of characters has grown, and the franchise has continued to evolve.
To celebrate the milestone, there are new toys and even a cookbook inspired by the series’ famous T&S Boulangerie Patisserie from Paris.
Cristina Vee, who voices Ladybug, recently shared her excitement about the anniversary, saying, “Doing this show for 10 years is really special to me.” She added, “I think it’s the longest project I’ve worked on consistently. Most projects are one or two sessions, so to be the lead in a show that’s continued for 10 years, it’s been amazing to see the fan base grow in that time. I’ve watched something build from the ground up, and that’s really amazing. I don’t think I have an experience like that with any other show.”
Fans can expect a lot from Miraculous this year, with new episodes, a fresh series, and special anniversary releases. There’s plenty to be excited about!
