‘Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved’ Trailer Reveals Film’s Ending Song
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has been one of the most popular works in its genre for years now. This quirky reverse isekai comedy has a very devoted fandom and that is why it shouldn’t surprise us that people are still interested in the future of the franchise.
With the original manga still ongoing, there is more material to adapt. And while the anime series is on a hiatus now, we know that a tie-in film titled Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved is going to be released later this year.
A proper trailer for the movie has been released and aside from some new scenes from the movie, the trailer also revealed the ending song for the movie.

The ending song in question is “Bokutachi no Hibi” (Our Days) by Sachiko Kobayashi, and we can also confirm that the film’s staff revealed the insert song “Negaigoto” (Wish) by kotringo as well. It has already been revealed that fhána will perform the opening theme song “Namida no Parade” (Tearful Parade).
Based on the trailer, the movie will definitely satisfy all the fans and it will be an interesting addition to the role of the series. The movie is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2025 in Japan, so the premiere date is not that far away.
The movie will feature the voice talents of Mutsumi Tamura as Kobayashi, Yūki Kuwahara as Tohru, Maria Naganawa as Kanna, Yūki Takada as Elma, Minami Takahashi as Lucoa, Daisuke Ono as Fafnir, Yūichi Nakamura as Makoto Takiya, Emiri Katō as Riko Saikawa, and Kaori Ishihara as Shōta Magatsuchi.
New cast members include Fumihiko Tachiki as Kimun Kamui and Nobunaga Shimazaki and Azad, while Shiori Sugiura will voice Ilulu in the film, replacing Tomomi Mineuchi who quit voice acting in 2022.
Series veteran Tatsuya Ishihara is back to direct the film.
