Ms Marvel: New Teaser Reveals New Look At The Titular Hero’s Modified Powers
The latest Marvel series Moon Knight finished its airing last week and now all the episodes are available to stream on Disney+. Of course, Marvel is already gearing up for what comes next. In less than one month, an all-new Marvel series, Ms Marvel, will officially premiere on the streamer. The series will introduce Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, the main character who will become Ms. Marvel, a new hero who is also set to join Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris in next year’s blockbuster The Marvels.
But, one thing that this show is interesting about this series is the powers of the main character, which are heavily modified compared to her powers from the comic books. In the source material, Ms. Marvel has the ability to shapeshift and extend her limps, similar to Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards or DC’s Elongated Man. The character also had the same powers in Marvel’s Avengers video game. But in the forthcoming series, the character’s powers will be creating cosmic constructs thanks to the special bracelet, which is more similar to Green Lantern.
The fans who are familiar with the character from the source material weren’t so happy about this modification of the character’s powers. On the other hand, this prevents similarities with Reed Richards who will also join the MCU in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie which is currently in development. Well, at least her suit will be as comic-accurate as it gets.

Ms. Marvel will have a special theatrical release in Pakistan. The series will premiere on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
