Netflix Accidentally Leaks ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Release Dates
Netflix may have just given Bridgerton fans a big surprise. A recent accidental leak suggests that Season 4 of the hit series could be coming sooner than expected.
After Season 3 wrapped up in June 2024, viewers have been eager to learn when the next chapter of the Bridgerton saga will arrive.
Production on Season 4 experienced some delays earlier this year, according to Forbes, but filming finished in June. Fans have been watching for any hints about the premiere, especially since a tie-in novel for Season 4 is set to release on January 6, 2026. This timing led many to speculate that the show might debut around the same time.
The rumor gained traction when Netflix Netherlands accidentally posted a promotional poster featuring Yerin Ha as Sophie and Luke Thompson as Benedict. The poster suggested that Season 4 would be split into two parts, with the first set of episodes releasing on January 29, 2026, and the second on February 6, 2026. The poster was quickly removed, and Netflix has not confirmed these dates.

If the leak is accurate, the release schedule would follow the pattern seen with previous seasons. Season 1 premiered in December 2020, Season 2 arrived in March 2022, and Season 3, also split into two parts, premiered in May and June 2024. Dividing the season into two halves seems to be a strategy Netflix often uses to build excitement and keep viewers talking between episodes.
Bridgerton Season 4 is expected to follow the love story of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, the “Lady in Silver,” based on Julia Quinn’s novels. The season will star Luke Thompson, Yerin Ha, Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, and returnees Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, and Nicola Coughlan.
It’s exciting to see Bridgerton returning, especially with the possibility of a January 2026 debut. Splitting the season into two parts could keep fans engaged and talking about the series for longer. Are you ready for Season 4? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments.
