Netflix is officially bringing back the world of Victorious with a brand-new spinoff called Hollywood Arts.

The show was first rumored nearly a year ago, and now it’s confirmed with Netflix ordering 26 episodes set to debut in 2026.

After the initial Netflix release, the series will also air on Nickelodeon and Paramount+, according to Variety.

Daniella Monet, who played Trina Vega in the original Victorious, is returning for the spinoff and will also serve as an executive producer.

The series will be filmed in Vancouver. In Hollywood Arts, Trina returns to her old high school as an unqualified substitute teacher. She quickly clashes with students but also helps guide them as they chase their dreams at Hollywood’s elite performing arts school.

“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do,” Monet said. “Victorious was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe.” She added that she’s excited to create something meaningful both as an actress and a producer.

The spinoff will feature new talent, including Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm, with Yvette Nicole Brown guest-starring.

Victorious originally aired on Nickelodeon from 2010 to 2013 and followed Tori Vega, played by Victoria Justice, as she navigated life at Hollywood Arts High School.

The show was known for its mix of comedy and musical performances, and it won Favorite TV Show at the 2012 and 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards. Despite mixed critical reviews, it earned a loyal fanbase and four Emmy nominations.

This new spinoff gives fans a chance to return to the world of Hollywood Arts while introducing a new generation of students.

This is a smart move by Netflix. The original Victorious still has a strong fan following, and bringing back a familiar character like Trina Vega can attract both old fans and new viewers. It will be interesting to see how the series balances nostalgia with fresh storytelling. What do you think about this revival? Share your thoughts in the comments.
