Netflix has released the official teaser for Troll 2, an upcoming Norwegian film directed by Roar Uthaug. The movie is set to come out sometime between September and November 2025. Troll 2 is the follow-up to the original Troll and is already being called the biggest film production ever made in the Nordic countries.

The movie was filmed in several places, including Trondheim, Maridalen, Jotunheimen in Norway, and also in Budapest. According to Espen Aukan, who wrote the screenplay, the team chose Budapest because it was hard to find the right filming locations in Norway. The producers behind the movie are Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud from the company Motion Blur.

The cast includes Ine Marie Wilmann playing Nora, Kim S. Falck-Jørgensen as Andreas Isaksen, and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen as Captain Kristoffer “Kris” Holm. Other actors in the movie are Sara Khorami, Jon Ketil Johnsen, Gard B. Eidsvold, Aksel Almaas, and Trond Magnum.
