Netflix Releases Official Trailer For ‘Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area’
La Casa de Papel, internationally known as Money Heist, was one of the most popular Netflix properties during its airing. The series premiered in May 2017 on Antena 3 and it moved to Netflix with its second season. After three seasons in five parts, the series concluded on Netflix in December 2021.
The original series was a Spanish heist drama, and now, Netflix released the official trailer for the South Korean series based on the original Spanish series. This series is described as both a remake and a spin-off of the original series, and it follows a strategist criminal mastermind known as The Professor. Álvaro Morte played The Professor in the original series, and now Yoo Ji-tae plays the Professor in this remake/spin-off.

Netflix is known for having extremely popular international content. The original Money Heist series is only one of those series. South Korean series Squid Game is also one of the international series that quickly became a global phenomenon. And not to mention other popular series like Dark (Germany), Elite (Spain), Kingdom (South Korena), Lupin (France), etc.
