Netflix Reveals Official Trailer For The Second Season ‘Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045’
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, a Japanese ONA (original net animation) anime series which is based on the original manga series Ghost in the Shell from the 1980s is set to return with its second season next May. May 23, to be precise.
The series premiered exclusively on Netflix worldwide in April 2020, and it received negative reviews from critics, which considered it inferior to the previous adaptations of Ghost in the Shell. The first season was later adapted into the compilation anime film, which was released in November last year. Despite the negative reception, Netflix still renewed the series for the second season, and now we got the first trailer.

Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is written by Kenji Kamiyama, and directed by Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki. The second season will drop on Netflix on May 23, 2022.
