Netflix Reveals Thrilling New Look at ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5
Netflix has released a new motion poster for Stranger Things Season 5, giving fans their first glimpse of the final chapter of the hit science fiction horror series.
The streaming service confirmed that the fifth season, which will mark the end of the show, will be released in three parts later this year.
The season will have eight episodes. Netflix announced that the first four episodes will premiere on November 26. The next three episodes are set to arrive on December 25, and the season finale will be released on December 31. The Duffer Brothers return as producers, alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.

The main cast from previous seasons will return, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
Amybeth McNulty, who appeared as a guest in the last season, has been promoted to the main cast. Linda Hamilton also joins the series as a new cast member.
The story picks up a year after the events of Season 4, set in the fall of 1987. The group is on a mission to find and defeat Vecna after the Rifts opened in Hawkins. Their plan becomes more complicated when the military arrives and begins targeting Eleven. As the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance approaches, the friends must face one last fight against a deadly threat.
The release of the motion poster has already generated excitement among fans, offering a first visual look at the upcoming season. The decision to release the final season in three parts appears designed to keep viewers engaged through the holidays and build anticipation for the series finale.
