Netflix is expanding its podcast offerings with a major new deal with Barstool Sports, the company founded by Dave Portnoy.

According to streamer, the multiyear agreement gives Netflix exclusive rights to video versions of three of Barstool’s most popular podcasts: Pardon My Take, The Ryen Russillo Podcast, and Spittin’ Chiclets.

Starting in early 2026, fans will be able to watch full video episodes of these shows on Netflix. This move means that the video versions of the podcasts will no longer be available on YouTube.

Netflix will first release the shows in the U.S., with plans to roll them out in other markets later. The deal includes all new episodes as well as select episodes from the shows’ archives. Audio versions of the podcasts will still be available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

“We’re excited to partner with Netflix and hopefully bring new audiences to each platform,” Portnoy said in a statement.

The partnership marks another step for Netflix as it grows its podcast programming. Previously, the company made deals with Spotify, which brought shows like The Bill Simmons Podcast and The Rewatchables to its platform, and with iHeartMedia for more than a dozen podcasts, including The Breakfast Club, co-hosted by Charlamagne tha God.

“We’re thrilled to team up with Barstool Sports and bring their top video podcasts to Netflix,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix’s VP of content licensing and programming strategy. “This partnership broadens how our members connect with Barstool’s leading sports voices and delivers exactly what our members crave: unfiltered commentary, sharp takes and undeniable humor. We look forward to giving fans another exciting way to engage with the conversations they love on Netflix.”

Pardon My Take, Barstool’s top-ranked sports podcast, features Big Cat and PFT Commenter delivering sharp sports commentary and fan-favorite segments. The Ryen Russillo Podcast focuses on sports analysis and interviews, while Spittin’ Chiclets covers NHL news, trends, and pop culture with hosts Ryan Whitney, Paul Bissonnette, and Rear Admiral.

This deal highlights Netflix’s continued interest in blending traditional media and streaming with the fast-growing world of podcasts.
