Netflix Sets Date for ‘The Upshaws’ Final Season and Unveils New Teaser Trailer
Netflix is preparing to wrap up The Upshaws, and fans now know when the final chapter will arrive. According to Netflix, the comedy’s last batch of episodes will premiere on January 15, 2026. This ending will mark the close of a run that began in 2021 and followed the chaotic but loving Upshaw family.
The series focuses on Bennie Upshaw, played by Mike Epps. He’s a husband, a father, and someone who often gets in his own way while trying to keep his family together. The show’s premise describes him as a man who means well but struggles to stay on track. The official description notes that the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together.
The cast includes Wanda Sykes, Kim Fields, Khali Spraggins, Jermelle Simon, and Journey Christine. Sykes and Regina Hicks created the show and lead it as showrunners, with both also serving as executive producers. Mike Epps, Page Hurwitz, and Niles Kirchner are also part of the producing team.
