The project has a strong lineup of executive producers, including Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, Jonathan Gabay, and Adrienne Erickson from Midnight Radio. Together, they bring years of experience in television and film, promising a fresh and exciting version of the Scooby-Doo universe.

In March 2025, it was officially confirmed that the series had entered production, showing that Netflix and Berlanti Productions are moving full steam ahead. Fans can expect eight episodes in the first season, allowing plenty of time to dive deep into mysteries with the iconic group of friends.
