Netflix’s ‘The Fixers’ Cast Guide (With Photos)

Netflix has set September 17 as the global premiere date for ‘The Fixers,’ a new Taiwanese action-comedy built around a covert group of problem solvers operating out of a century-old temple. The series follows Felix Chiang, a debt-ridden gangster facing a midlife crisis, who is unexpectedly recruited by a mysterious organization known as Ching He to become a Fixer, with members discreetly solving difficult problems for criminals, political figures, business elites, and anyone else unable to handle matters themselves. The show pairs comedy with genuine stakes, and much of that balance rests on its lead performers.

Below is a rundown of the actors bringing ‘The Fixers’ to life, along with photos of each cast member and the roles they play. Co-directed by Hung Tzu-hsuan, known for the billion-grossing film ’96 Minutes,’ and Henri Chang, known for ‘Copycat Killer,’ the series features an all-star ensemble spanning gangsters, political heirs, and temple operatives.

Christopher Lee plays Felix Chiang, the debt-ridden gangster at the center of the story. The character is caught cheating at cards in an underground casino at the start of the series, which launches him into an adrenaline-fueled chase through a traditional market before he is pulled into the Fixers organization.

The actor’s only appearance on Netflix to date was in the 2021 film ‘The Soul.’ He is best known for starring in films such as ‘All My Goddess’ and ‘Forgotten,’ and in series such as ‘Port of Lies,’ ‘Danger Zone: The Dark Night,’ ‘Workers,’ and ‘The Shaolin Warriors.’

According to an official statement shared by Netflix, Lee said he had been looking forward to sharing the show with audiences since filming wrapped, calling Felix Chiang a layered character and expressing excitement for viewers to see the chemistry among the three leads. That comment came from a firsthand statement Netflix obtained directly, which is why it warrants attribution through About Netflix.

The role marks a notable leading turn for Lee within Netflix’s growing Chinese language slate, a push the streamer has been expanding through several new titles this year.

Shou Lou

Shou Lou plays Louis Hsueh, described as an arrogant political scion. Hsueh is paired with Chiang as an arrogant young partner and a second generation political figure whose personality clashes sharply with his co-lead.

The actor’s only Netflix Original appearance to date was in the popular crime drama ‘Million-Follower Detective.’ Other films starring the actor are also available on Netflix, including ‘Organ Child’ and ‘I Am the Secret in Your Heart.’

Lou has described ‘The Fixers’ as more than a high-octane action series, noting that every character has their own perspective and difficult choices to make, and that no one in the show is presented as simply good or evil. That framing suggests the mismatched partnership between Chiang and Hsueh carries more emotional weight than the trailer’s chase sequences might initially suggest.

Regina Lei

Regina Lei plays Mina Shen, described as the third operative in the Fixers organization. Her character is introduced through an elevator brawl in the teaser that stands out as one of the clearest action moments in the early footage.

To date, the actress’s only Netflix appearance was in the romantic drama ‘At the Moment.’ She has also starred in Taiwanese dramas such as ‘Tabloid,’ ‘I Can See You Shine,’ and ‘Port of Lies,’ along with films such as ‘Demon Hunters’ and ‘Antikalpa.’ She was named Top Talent by the Taipei Film Festival in 2022.

Lei delivered a breakout performance as Leena, an Indonesian caretaker appointed as a court translator, in the series ‘Port of Lies,’ a role she was cast in just three weeks before filming began after the original actress could not travel to Taiwan. Lei has said the role of Mina Shen allowed her to explore unfamiliar territory and take on action sequences she had not previously tackled, and that she hopes audiences enjoy the character while discovering a different side of her performance range.

Fu Meng-po

Fu Meng-po rounds out the supporting cast, previously appearing in the Netflix project ‘The Resurrected.’ He is a Taiwanese actor best known for his roles in the romance films ‘Your Love Song’ and ‘I Missed You,’ as well as the period series ‘The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty.’

Fu studied at the Taipei National University of the Arts and has been active as an actor since 2011, building a career largely across Taiwanese film and television. His filmography spans romance, period drama, and crime, giving him a different toolkit than the action-forward leads of ‘The Fixers.’

Fu is part of the wider ensemble that fills out the temple’s roster of operatives and rivals, alongside Tou Chung-hua, Chang Yung-cheng, and Kelly Lin. TMDB lists Fu, Tou, and Chang in support roles across the season, with the main trio of Lee, Lou, and Lei carrying the central storyline.

With the full cast now in place and a premiere date locked for later this month, the bigger question is how audiences will respond to a temple-based crime organization once ‘The Fixers’ actually starts streaming, and which of these performances will end up defining the show’s first season.
