New ‘Arco’ Trailer Drops, Will Ferrell, Natalie Portman & America Ferrera Lead Star-Studded Animated Film
Neon has shared the last teaser for its French animated movie “Arco” and also confirmed the actors who will voice the English version.
The voice lineup includes Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Flea, Mark Ruffalo and Andy Samberg. According to Neon, the English version will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7 as part of the Centerpiece section before its wide release.
“Arco” is directed by French artist Ugo Bienvenu and marks his first time leading a feature film. The movie uses 2D animation and tells the story of a young boy from the future who travels back in time. He ends up in a more dangerous era and joins forces with a girl and a robot as they try to get him home while protecting the world.

The film first screened at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Soon after, Neon secured the rights to distribute it across North America. The movie later earned major honors at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where it won both the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film and the Soundtrack Award.
Bienvenu produced the project with Felix de Givry of Remembers. Natalie Portman and Sophie Mas of mountainA were also part of the production team.
“Arco” follows Neon’s earlier animated release “Robot Dreams,” which the company picked up at Cannes in 2023. It is also listed as the studio’s 14th release of the year, joining titles such as “Together,” “Life of Chuck,” “Hell of a Summer” and “The Monkey.”
