Marvel has continued its promotional rollout for “Avengers: Endgame Encore” with a fresh teaser, arriving just one week before the film returns to theaters on September 25. The latest clip continues a pattern established by earlier trailers, mixing footage from the original 2019 release with carefully guarded hints about how the re-release connects to December’s “Avengers: Doomsday.”
That connection has become the central selling point of the entire campaign. Some have theorized the new footage amounts to little more than an extended post-credits tag featuring Robert Downey Jr.’s highly anticipated transformation into Victor Von Doom, the character he’s set to play in “Avengers: Doomsday” after years associated with Tony Stark and Iron Man.
Beyond the new footage itself, eagle-eyed fans have also zeroed in on a subtle dialogue change within the existing “Endgame” content.
