New ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Clip Shows Deadpool’s new Profession, Relationship Status & Reveals Why the TVA Desperately Needs Him

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is a highly anticipated release this year, expected to bring excitement to fans. Firstly, it marks Deadpool’s debut in the MCU, a move fans have long awaited. Secondly, it’s part of a strategy aimed at restoring fans’ trust in the franchise and the studio.

At the 2024 CinemaCon Marvel Studios presentation, an exclusive clip was shown, featuring Deadpool, Wolverine, and familiar supporting characters from previous films. The clip is humorous, and heartfelt, and most importantly, it reveals Deadpool’s crucial role in saving the sacred timeline, debunking the notion that he was kidnapped by the TVA for stealing Cable’s time travel device.

At CinemaCon, attendees got an exclusive 9-minute sneak peek of Deadpool & Wolverine. The clip shows Wade Wilson working as a car salesman, joined by his X-Force buddy Peter, who still has Deadpool’s old costume. X-Men characters like Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead make appearances at Wade’s surprise birthday bash. The clip also hints at Wade and Vanessa’s breakup, revealing their relationship as amicable but no longer romantic.

During the celebration, the TVA interrupts and takes Wade to meet Mr. Paradox, who offers him a chance to impact the multiverse’s sacred timeline. Wade gets a suit upgrade and adamantium swords. Amidst humorous moments, Wade embraces his new role with style.

The presentation also disclosed that Deadpool designed the popcorn buckets for the film. Feige described the movie as “F**** Awesome.”

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is set to release on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
