New HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ Set Leaks Showcase King’s Cross Station & Possibly Diagon Alley

HBO is working on a new ‘Harry Potter’ series, as most of you likely know. The show will adapt one book per season, with seven seasons planned. Filming is set to start in summer 2025.

Now, in preparations for the upcoming filming, the first set leaks are making it online. Notable leaker UnBoxPHD recently shared what appears to be a first look at the station and soon-to-be Diagon Alley.

In the Harry Potter universe, the Station and Diagon Alley are very important places. The Station refers to King’s Cross Station, where students take the train to Hogwarts. There is a secret platform there called Platform 9¾. It cannot be seen by normal people.

To get to it, wizards and witches must walk through a wall between platforms nine and ten. This is the place where Harry and other students begin their journey to the magical school. It is special because it is the doorway between the regular world and the magical one.

Diagon Alley is another important place. It is a secret street filled with magical shops. Wizards and witches go there to buy things they need for school and for everyday life. Harry first visits Diagon Alley to get his wand, books, robes, and even his pet owl.

The entrance is hidden behind a wall, and only magical people know how to open it. Diagon Alley shows us how big and exciting the magical world is.

Together, the Station and Diagon Alley help Harry and the other characters move between the normal world and the magical world. They are the places where magic begins for many young witches and wizards.
