New Look At ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Mysterious House Revealed Near Royal Windsor Castle as Summer Filming Gears Up

Marvel is preparing to return to Windsor Great Park in Berkshire for more filming on Avengers: Doomsday. A new set may soon be built in the area, based on a request submitted to local authorities by Marvel’s UK production company, For All Time Productions.

The proposed set is described as “Annie Reynolds’ house.” This character is believed to be the mother of Sentry, a major new figure in the MCU who will first appear in Thunderbolts. A leak earlier this year hinted at her role in the upcoming film. The location chosen for the build is near Prince Consort’s Drive, not far from the park’s environmental center.

Construction is expected to begin around mid-July, with the plan to finish dismantling the set by the end of September. Although the structure will stand for several weeks, filming there is only scheduled for one day in August.

In a separate update, photos of another set recently surfaced. It features a 1960s-style house currently referred to in production notes as “Luke Cage” house. That structure is already built.

Marvel also wants to add a service area for equipment and vehicles near the filming site. This would extend into land managed by Bracknell Forest Council. Although no formal application has been filed with that council, plans have been shared for review.

Right now, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is reviewing Marvel’s application. They have already approved a different Marvel shoot nearby, located along Duke’s Lane.

Windsor Great Park is part of the Crown Estate, which gives King Charles a 25% share of its annual profits. While the cost of this Marvel production hasn’t been shared publicly, insiders say it’s a small sum compared to how much Marvel films usually earn.

The money brought in from filming will help maintain the park, which is why the King may be keeping a close eye on the project. Some reports even suggest members of the Royal Family could visit the set.

Filming will involve about 300 people, including cast and crew, over the summer.

Avengers: Doomsday will bring together a huge lineup of heroes, with stars like Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Sebastian Stan, Simu Liu, and more. Actors from past X-Men films, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden, are also expected to appear.

Hugh Jackman may also return as Wolverine, although that hasn’t been confirmed. In this story, the Avengers join forces with groups like the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Wakandans to battle Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

The movie is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026. A follow-up film, Secret Wars, is set for December 17, 2027, as part of Marvel’s Phase Six.
