New ‘Superheroic’ Movies & TV Shows Set to Release in November 2025

These picks are not strict entries in the superhero genre, but each one lands with that same larger than life energy you get from caped crusaders and powered teams taking on the impossible. Expect vigilantes, world saving missions, reality bending threats, and big ensemble dynamics across theaters and streaming all month long.

This new chapter in the long running franchise follows Dek, a young Predator outcast, who joins forces with Thia, a damaged Weyland Yutani synth, on a harsh alien world as they clash with rival hunters and an apex Predator. The film explores Predator culture from the inside with a focus on rites of passage and clan conflict rather than a hunt on Earth. It is directed by Dan Trachtenberg with a screenplay by Patrick Aison and stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster Koloamatangi. The movie is rated PG 13 and releases in theaters on November 7 from 20th Century Studios.

Edgar Wright directs a new adaptation of the Stephen King novel about a deadly reality show where contestants called runners must evade professional hunters for a massive cash prize. The story centers on Ben Richards and reframes the source material as a high intensity road movie that travels through a surveillance heavy near future. The cast includes Glen Powell, Josh Brolin, Colman Domingo, Emilia Jones, Lee Pace, Michael Cera, and more. Paramount releases the film in the United States on November 14 following a November 12 debut in the United Kingdom.

Set in an alternate present shaped by genetic enhancement, outcasts Leon and Chloe fight back against corrupt leaders who exploit the gap between the modified and everyone else. The sci fi action film comes from director Timo Vuorensola and stars Tom Felton with Aggy K. Adams and Richard Brake. The U.S. release is a limited theatrical bow from Well Go USA with digital availability on November 21 and the runtime is 87 minutes. Trailers highlight a story that traces the fallout of a world rebuilt by human augmentation and underground resistance.

The final season returns to Hawkins with the core cast as the series closes out its Upside Down saga across three drops starting with Volume 1 on November 26. Netflix follows with Volume 2 on December 25 and a finale on December 31 to complete the story. The season is set in the fall of 1987 and brings back Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Max along with major returning adults and new faces. Netflix announced the rollout during its Tudum event and is staging global fan celebrations around the launch.

Prime Video’s animated series based on Critical Role’s second campaign follows a band of fugitives and misfits who unite to stop a realm shattering threat tied to a powerful relic. The show is set in Exandria on the continent of Wildemount and features the Critical Role cast alongside a roster of guest stars. Amazon confirmed the series for November 19 with a first look and continued promotion through the fall. All episodes stream on Prime Video beginning with the premiere.

This reimagining from Lionsgate Television for MGM Plus stars Jack Patten as Robin Hood and Lauren McQueen as Marian with Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham. The story follows a Saxon forester’s son and a Norman lord’s daughter who band together after the Norman invasion to fight for justice across medieval England. Production took place in Serbia in early 2025 with a cast that includes Connie Nielsen and Steven Waddington. The series premieres on MGM Plus on November 2.

Vince Gilligan’s new Apple TV Plus series centers on the most miserable person on Earth who must save the world from enforced happiness. The show stars Rhea Seehorn with Karolina Wydra and Carlos Manuel Vesga and Apple has ordered two seasons. Apple debuts the series on November 7 with a two episode premiere and a nine episode first season. The project continues Gilligan’s collaboration with Seehorn following their work together on Better Call Saul.
