New Thriller ‘They Will Kill You’ Trailer Stars Zazie Beetz in Deadly NYC Mystery
Kirill Sokolov’s new horror-action film, They Will Kill You, has released its first trailer, giving fans a first look at the deadly and twisted world it promises.
The film stars Zazie Beetz as a young housekeeper who discovers that her new job in a New York City skyscraper comes with far more danger than she expected.
According to the official logline, They Will Kill You is “a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.”

• Described as a mix of ‘Ready or Not’ and ‘The Raid’
• Follows a housekeeper working in an NYC skyscraper who uncovers a possible satanic cult
• In theaters on March 27 https://t.co/6JnqGSdjJQ
In the trailer, Beetz’s character quickly learns that her new workplace, The Virgil, is far from ordinary. The building hides a satanic cult, and each month its members—including staff and tenants—select a new victim to sacrifice. Beetz’s maid is, unsurprisingly, the target for this month. The trailer shows her fighting back with determination, proving she is not a victim who will go down quietly.

The cast also includes Myha’la, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. This is the first feature from Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti’s Nocturna banner. The pair produce alongside Dan Kagan, with executive producers including Sokolov, co-writer Alex Litvak, and others.
Warner Bros.’ New Line Cinema is set to release They Will Kill You in theaters on March 27, 2026. The new trailer, released this week, gives a clear look at the film’s mix of horror, action, and dark comedy, and sets the stage for a thrilling ride.
